Owners
The owners of Wild Iceland are adventurers from top to toe with years of experience in managing the "Big Arctic Adventure". They have a special talent of making things work out and they both have developed a unique skill of being able to answer business calls on their mobile phones under very extreme conditions, for example while being pulled up a ski lift in -15°C and before taking off their dry suit after a rafting trip in +25°C. Both have adapted to office work admirably fast, but are tempted to do some guided trips in between to keep their mental health. They use their limited spare time to fulfill their own adventure dreams, in Iceland and abroad.

The Guides
Most of our guides have been trekking since they were infants. Its their life. Some have special interests such as caving, rock climbing, ice climbing, glacier hiking, rafting, kayaking, snowboarding or even just telling ghost stories and cooking a good meal. Although they are all very different characters they all share the same passion and respect for the Icelandic nature. They are very knowledgable about its geological features and its dangers. Therefore you are in good hands on your trekking adventure. Furthermore, all our guides speak excellent english and some can even speak French, German, Finnish and Scandinavian languages.
